Here are all of DownRabbitHole's jams.
by The Courteeners
One of my favourite albums, one of my favourite songs and it makes sense for it to be my last ever jam. Looking into letsloop.com so hope to find a few of you are on there, but for now its been a blast This Is My Jam!!!

by Dog Is Dead
Yay new music from Dog Is Dead! Really been enjoying this one for the last few days, if you haven't listened to their debut album 'All Our Favourite Stories' you should definitely check it out! Came out 2013, great from start to finish.
Jammed: 6th Aug 2015
Okay so I do like What Went Down, but it didn't blow me away too much compared to some of Foals other singles that came out as a teaser to new albums, such as Inhaler for example. However Mountain At My Gates is damn catchy, really loving this one, so very much looking forward to the new album now!!

by Frazey Ford
Okay so I REALLY wanted to jam the new Everything Everything album, but because of the restrictions thing I can't even post any of the songs!! Basically if you haven't heard it, give it a spin as its easily one of my favourite albums of the year so far. But heres a song that just helped me calm down after the rage of not being able to post what I want....

by Joel Sarakula
Heard this for the first time a few months ago when someone posted it as their jam (sorry I can't remember who it was!) and I've loved it ever since. Thank you TIMJ for bringing me together with like minded music people! Why can't you see I'm the only one still dancing? Never thought I'd end up on my own...

by Jenny Lewis
Expect my next jam to be something off the new Everything Everything album when I've had a good listen to it, but for now heres a tune I've had stuck in my head for the past couple of weeks!

by Unknown Mortal Orchestra
One of those artists where I'm not really a fan of the whole album, but theres gems scattered throughout such as this beauty! Gets me grooving.
Jammed: 6th Jun 2015
All the new Muse stuff flying about recently, but this is back when I really loved them, such a great live performance!!
Jammed: 1st Jun 2015
by The Tallest Man on Earth
New Tallest Man on Earth album came out last week and its as amazing as I hoped it would be! First time he's brought in a full backing band, but its a nice change as it brings variety to the album. Think its safe to stay this is probably going to be in my top 10 albums of 2015....
Jammed: 20th May 2015
by Mumford & Sons
So I wanted to jam a song from the new Noel Gallagher album as I've really been enjoying that this week, but seen as there isn't any versions of it that are the correct speed I've gone with the new Mumford track instead! (Although it was hard enough finding a decent version of this!) So yeah Mumford & Sons are coming back with a new album, I'm rather looking forward to it, will see how their change in sound works out for them! I do like the progression in this song.

by Young the Giant
So this week I've moved over to North America from the UK for a year! In Oregon for a couple of weeks then up to live in Vancouver! Think this song is a good fit for travelling.... And if the world don't break, I'll be shaking it, cause I'm a young man after all!
Jammed: 28th Feb 2015
by Little Comets
One of my favourite bands Little Comets have put out their 3rd album 'Hope Is Just a State of Mind' today! So I'm sure I'll be playing that alot this week, but for now heres a song off their last album, alittle something to get your feet moving on a Monday!
Jammed: 16th Feb 2015
by The Tallest Man On Earth
So yesterday it was announced theres a new Tallest Man On Earth album coming out in May and I can't wait!! I can't believe I still haven't got to see him live, maybe this is the year! This exact live version is one of my favourite things ever, very strong contender for my eternal jam (which I still haven't picked yet!)
Jammed: 11th Feb 2015
by Rae Morris
So Rae Morris debut album 'Unguarded' came out this week! Although personally I prefer her older singles where it was just her and the piano, this is still a solid debut. I've been tipping this lady for big things for awhile now and last year she did vocals on both Bombay Bicycle Club and Clean Bandit albums, as well as being listed in the BBC's Sound Of 2015 list! Actually met up with Rae a few times last year, you can hear those chats on my mixcloud http://www.mixcloud.com/DownTheRabbitHole/

by Catfish and the Bottlemen
Wow Bombay got a lot of love! Okay so the one you've all been waiting for, my favourite album of 2014 was Catfish and the Bottlemen - The Balcony! If you listen to my radio show or follow me on twitter you could have probably guessed this one, the amount I go on about theses guys! Catfish are lads from Wales who really burst onto the music scene last year with this, their debut album and their relentless gigging! This is Indie Rock at its finest, so not a groundbreaking new sound, but one thats done extremely well! Basically any of the songs off this album could be a sing along stadium anthem, these are a band you have to see live!! I did an interview back at the start of last year and I don't think they realised how big a year was in front of them, playing all over the world, sold out tours and winning the BBC Breakthrough Artist award! Catfish and the Bottlemen, your debut is my favourite album of 2014. Standout songs: Fallout, Pacifier, Cocoon, Hourglass

by Bombay Bicycle Club
Okay so at number 2 on my Top 10 Albums of 2014 its Bombay Bicycle Club - So Long, See You Tomorrow! This is Bombays 4th album and easily my favourite! They're a band that have had a strong following ever since their debut album and single 'Always Like This' came out back in 2008, but they don't just stick to one sound, they like to experiment on each album and the sound they're currently going with is the best so far for me! Even just the songs on this album are very different from one another, this being shown on songs like 'Feel' which has Indian influences! They also feature some amazing artists both on tour and the albums, such as Lucy Rose, Liz Lawrence and Rae Morris (featured on this song), who I spoke to several times last year and is definitely going to be big this year! Bombay were one of my favourite live bands of 2014, the visuals they had as a background were stunning and highly recommend trying to catch a gig! Standout songs: Luna, Feel, Home By Now, Come To
Jammed: 14th Jan 2015
by George Ezra
At 3 in my Top 10 Albums of 2014 countdown its George Ezra - Wanted On Voyage! If you live in the UK you'll have definitely heard of this guy by now! Wanted On Voyage is Georges debut and it's an album that is really well rounded, with fast, happy songs to slower, darker songs. Most are aimed at an ex lover (as so many songs are about love these days), but his songs are not so much soppy, more clever and witty! At 21 alot of people say his voice doesn't match what he looks like, which I can kinda understand as he does sing with a very aged, matured voice, not to far away from the likes of Bob Dylan, theres alot of folk/blues going on. His song 'Budapest' was one of 2014's summer anthems, everywhere I went I seemed to hear it! Chill vibes in the sun. He also had Ian Mckellen in his video for 'Listen To The Man'! The future is looking bright for George. Standout songs: Blame It On Me, Listen To The Man, Drawing Board, Budapest

by Nick Mulvey
Happy New Year everyone! I knew my 2014 album countdown was going to overrun... Ahh well just means we've got the best music to start 2015 on! So at 4 on the top 10 albums of 2014 we've got Nick Mulvey - First Mind! Nick used to be the drum player in a Jazz type band called Portico Quartet, but hes had a big change, become a solo singer/songwriter and boy oh boy am I glad he did! First Mind is his debut album and its a beauty, with some of the best guitar playing I've heard in a long time! Theres also lots of world sounds throughout his songs which makes each song sound different and unique. I jammed this song back in November when I'd just been to see Nick live and now the year has finished I can say that gig was probably my favourite of 2014! He was playing at Manchester Cathedral and it was just the perfect setting for this type of music, beautiful scenery, beautiful sounds! Standout songs: Fever To The Form, Meet Me There, Cucurucu

by Band of Skulls
Hope everyone had a good Christmas! We are into the top 5 albums of 2014 now (can already tell this is going to overrun New Years day...) and coming in at number 5 is Band of Skulls - Himalayan! This is Band of Skulls 3rd album and although I did like the 2nd, I think this is a proper return to form to match how good their debut was, this is possibly even better! What I love about Band of Skulls is they don't alter their sound too much each album, they stick with what they know. They do blues rock and they do it well! I also love all their album covers! I interviewed them at Leeds Fest in the summer and asked why the name Band of Skulls? They told me to them it means a melding of their minds to make the music and Band of Skulls was the coolest way to say it!You can check that interview out here http://www.mixcloud.com/DownTheRabbitHole/band-of-skulls-interview/ Standout songs: Himalayan, Hoochie Coochie, I Guess I Know You Fairly Well
Jammed: 26th Dec 2014
by Stu Larsen
At 6 in my top 10 album countdown of 2014 is Stu Larsen - Vagabond! This is where I really had to start thinking about what album to put where, Vagabond has easily been one of my very favourites of the year and could have probably gone higher! Stu is a really interesting guy from Australia who has no permeant address and is forever travelling all over the world, this plays a big part in his songs. It's so refreshing to see someone doing music for the joy of it and not simply cause they wanna be rich or a celeb. Reckon we'd get on really well, heck we're both called Stu! Stu is probably the least known artist on this list (well for those of us outside of Australia anyway) but he's created an album here that could easily go toe to toe with some of the big name male solo singer/songwriter types (of which there are many) such as his own best mate Passenger who actually produced this album and who's own I put at 10! Standout songs: San Francisco, King Street, Far Away From Here

by Luke Sital-Singh
Sorry I haven't updated in a few days, been ill so just been sleeping alot! Right at 7 in my top 10 album countdown we have Luke Sital Singh - The Fire Inside! Okay I'm going to hold my hands up and be the first to say it, this album probably shouldn't be higher than some of the others I've already posted. I probably did make a mistake there... However I do still love this album alot! This is Luke's debut and it's a real heart wrencher of an album, songs about love and angst that really get to you, he sings with raw emotion. Yes maybe I did put this album a little high, but it is still a great 2014 album and one of my personal favourites nonetheless. Standout songs: Fail For You, Bottled Up Tight, Nothing Stays The Same
Jammed: 16th Dec 2014
by Slow Club
Angus & Julia Stone were getting alot of love, so I decided to leave it up for a couple of extra days but its now time to move on.... Because at 8 in my Top 10 Albums of 2014 we have Slow Club - Complete Surrender! Slow Club first came on my radar when they brought out second album 'Paradise' and more specifically their song 'Two Cousins', which I loved alot. Now this, their third album shows how much they have grown since then, building on all the things they did well, the lyrics, the harmonies and polished it all off with an overall more mature sound that has many soul and motown influences behind it. For me its a winner! Standout songs: Complete Surrender, Tears of Joy, Not Mine to Love
Jammed: 9th Dec 2014
by Angus & Julia Stone
Number 9 on the Top 10 Albums of 2014 countdown we have Australian brother and sister duo, Angus & Julia Stone with their self titled album Angus & Julia Stone! This album has got a big Folk/Blues feel to it. Angus and Julia are amazing artists in their own right, both of their solo stuff is brilliant, so when the two do come together to make music its always something special!! I love how the pair take turns leading the songs, showcasing the differences in their voices and when they do duet parts they fit together just right. This really is a joint effort album. Standout songs: Get Home, Heart Beats Slow, All This Love
Jammed: 4th Dec 2014
The countdown on my Top 10 Albums of 2014 begins! Kicking us off at number 10 is Passenger - Whispers Passenger knows how to write catchy songs that people can relate to and put a smile on your face! I always find myself singing along loudly to this album! Standout songs: Scare Away the Dark, 27, Whispers
Jammed: 1st Dec 2014
by Nick Mulvey
I went to see Nick Mulvey last week at Manchester Cathedral and it was easily one of the best gigs I've been to recently, amazing artist, amazing venue! The support artist Sivu is brilliant too!
