Here are all of Earology's jams.

“Are we not all of us fanatics? I say only what you of the U.S.A. pretend you do not know. Attachments are of great seriousness. Choose your attachments carefully. Choose your temple of fanaticism with great care. What you wish to sing of as tragic love is an attachment not carefully chosen. Die for one person? This is a craziness. Persons change, leave, die, become ill. They leave, lie, go mad, have sickness, betray you, die. Your nation outlives you. A cause outlives you.” -DFW

Stars, they come and go. They come fast, 'n slow. They go like the last light of the sun, All in a blaze. And all you see is glory. Hey, but it gets loney there, When there's no one here to share. We can shake it away, If you'll hear a story. People lust for fame, Like athletes in a game. We break our collarbones, And come up swinging. Some of us are downed Some of us are crowned, And some of are lost and never found. But most have seen it all. They live their lives, In sad cafes and music halls. They always come up singing.

This one always hits me. Herbie's piano is gorgeous. The only near second recording is Chet Baker's. And the song, I assume for most, is tragically true.

I'll be around You were right about the stars Each one is a setting sun Tall buildings shake Voices escape singing sad sad songs Tuned to chords strung down your cheeks Bitter melodies turning your orbit around Tall buildings shake Voices escape singing sad sad songs Tuned to chords strung down your cheeks Bitter melodies turning your orbit around

There's so much yearning and hopefulness and beauty in this song that even though it's really "upbeat" I actually find it incredibly painful and heart-wrenching to listen to, almost like there's an overwhelming level of feeling. - Declan Cochlan

#1 Just watched Rock Doc: The Wrecking crew. Didn't know most of the great music of the 60's came from one stellar ( and humble ) group of studio musicians. Makes you think #2 The subtle, contrasting darkness of this song's lyrics compared to the lightheartedness of its own sound and another similar song, "I get around," foreshadowed and hinted at not only what would come for the boys, the 60's and the country, but for Rock n' Roll in general. #3 This was Wilson's attempt to ape the Ronette's, "Be my Baby" his favorite song.

Heaven, Hell, and everything in between. This performance will change your life. Guaranteed. RRK strut like a G.O.D. When he picked up a flute, no one could believe he was blind. "When I die I want them to play the BLACK AND CRAZY BLUES, I want to be cremated, put in a bag of pot and I want beautiful people to smoke me and hope they got something out of it." RRK Merci beaucoup, danke schoen, gracias, and domo arigato.
