Well, it's time for the last pick on my favourite music site for the last ~3 years, #TIMJ #ThisIsMyJam. And although many of the lyrics don't really fit, I couldn't resist choosing this track from 1975, as the title says it all. Thanks for sharing your favourite tracks with me, and for all your great comments. Farewell my friends.

This came on the car radio earlier, and it seemed to fit my happy mood! I like the backing vocals - they remind me of those in George Benson's Give Me The Night, and both tracks are from 1980.

I like both the Part 1 and Part 2 remixes of this track. This time, I thought I'd go for part 2.

This Is My Jam is effectively closing, so I thought I'd post this song. It's driven me crazy when I've found many choices blocked by copyright - but still allowed on YouTube. But I'll miss all the people, the comments and interactions, as well as discovering new music. I've been here since December 2012, and music on here has seen me through the worst period of my life - when I my wife died in June 2013. #TIMJ #goodbye #missyouall

I transferred all my cassettes to digital format a few years ago. This morning, I played one that my sister recorded off the radio in 1978 - a top 40 countdown. This was one of the tracks.

In 1992, I contacted a local radio station and asked them to dedicate a song to my wife, who died in 2013 aged 45. The DJ made a pretty good choice - this is the song. It always takes me back to that time

This old favourite seems a good choice after a tough day. It also reminds me of going on holiday - I put it on one of my own compilation CDs. (Shame about the typo in the title on youtube)

I remember playing this on Easter Sunday as a child in the early 1970s, on my sister's battery-powered record player! It was produced in 1968 - the year I was born. #EasterMemories

This is the title track of an album that was released in 1995, and it still sends a shiver down my spine. (I much prefer the album version to the other mixes. Unfortunately, this one has been trimmed down by a minute - but it's the best I could find online.)

Ready for #FunkyFriday - an old favourite from 1982, that I first heard about 10 years later - typical for me. I like the opening lines - Feeling’ lucky lately. I can feel this is my time. And I think that I can make it

I've been searching my archives again, for tracks I'd forgotten about. This was one of my favourites back in 1991

This only got to number 13 in the UK in 1987, but it's one of my favourite Donna Summer tracks. It was also the one with which she made her first appearance on Top of the Pops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65MYJRsjNJE

A few years ago, I used to listen to a recording of the Craig Charles Funk and Soul show in the car on the way to work. I discovered quite a few new tracks that way - here's one from 2010
