Here are all of barneyfett's jams.
by Jemaine Clement
This is a fun, trippy song that was featured on 'Rick & Morty' last week and performed by Jemaine Clement in a heavy David Bowie style. With the archiving of #ThisIsMyJam almost upon us, I felt that this was an appropriate homage. Enjoy!

by The Beginning of the End
An early submission for #FunkyFriday! This is a fun track from The Beginning of the End, a funk group from the Bahamas, who released this track on the album of the same name back in 1971. Pour a drink and don't resist the urge to dance!

by Pink Floyd
This is one of my favorite instrumentals, featuring the twin bass guitars of David Gilmour and Roger Waters. The only vocal on the track is from drummer, Nick Mason, who utters the distorted words, "One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces." This is a great piece from the experimental days of Pink Floyd.

by Kurtis Blow
This is a great funky, early hip-hop jewel that helped put Kurtis Blow on the map. The track was even sampled on the Beastie Boys sophomore album, "Paul's Boutique", for the track "Hey, Ladies". Take a trip back into the history of the genre and give it a spin! #FunkyFriday

by Louis Armstrong
I recently heard the original studio version of this song as done by Louis Armstong for the first time in a long while and had forgotten how perfect this piece was for New Orleans' prodigal son. This version is a live rendition from the Great Chicago Concert of 1956, an amazing album in its own right. Enjoy!

A little post-Comic Con fun with Queen... Everyone seems to know this song, regardless of whether they've seen the 1980 film or not. I had a chance to meet Sam Jones, the star of 'Flash Gordon' on the last day of #SDCC this year, so this seems to be a fitting send off until next summer!

by The Avalanches
Sometimes a band needs to just have some fun with a song. This somewhat elusive track features samples from a number of different albums that the group came across and has some of the best scratching that you'll hear in a modern day track. #TheAvalanches
