Here are all of loboska's jams.
by Soft Cell
And so, the end is near.... see you in the other places, and may those other places be as happy, friendly and charming as this has been. I often tweeted how this had become my favourite site, esp in contrast to how snarky everyone seemed to be on Twitter & FB. I really started interacting with people when I began to notice everyone writing about a wedding that was going to happen between 2 people on here (take a bow @natyblooming and @Brownpants). This really piqued my interest, and I loved the romance of it Aside from that, as I get older, I find myself running for the comfort of old tunes, the instant gratification you get from a mixture of good music and fond memories. TIMJ made me listen to stuff I hadn't heard before, without having to wade through lots of shite. One of you introduced Hinds and Durutti Column to e - eternally grateful. Take care, xxx P.S. thanks for the shout out @BertrandRustles, and the new friend nod - but I've been following you for bloody ages :-)
by Razorlight
Hey Ya! is a brilliant song. I'm not so keen on Razorlight, but they do a magnificent cover of this. I'm gong to miss you lot.
by PJ Harvey
I'M NOT POSTING ANYTHING NEW. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING NEW!!! This is why I need you lot. Still, We Float by PJ is immense.
by The Rolling Stones
The Beatles or The Stones? Brilliantly, I never heave to decide. No, this isn't hteir best song, but I still love it. I love them, and in my rock sex dungeon, Jagger would def be a guest/captive.
by Beck
I adore Beck and love Them's version of It's All Over Now, Baby Blue so I'm posting Jackass. It's our last weekend, isn't it? I haven't interacted and formed relationships on here quite like some of you have, but you've all helped make this my favourite site. Thank you for the music, TIMJ and Jammers.Much love, Laura x
by Nina Simone
Are you funkier than a mosquite's tweeter? What's she on about? Nina Simone can sing anything she wants.
by Bryan Ferry
Today's wseather: Spanish vocab test you forgot to revise for, detention and no coat. With that in mind, A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall by Bryan.
by Altered Images
Today's rubbish weather reminds me of a double maths & physics sort of a day, the only thing keeping me going was the radio in between lessons and I really like this disco side of Altered Images. And every boy I knew fancied Clare Grogan, especially after Gregory's Girl (lie-down dancing, anyone?).
by Man Parrish
I developed a massive holiday crush on an older boy who made me a mix-tape. This was on it, and I still love it.

Where are you finding all this music I've not heard before? Here's something you prob do know - Make It Wit Chu, Queens of the Stone Age. Found sporadic WiFi connection in Turkey, to see what you're all posting.

by The Monkees
Using all my posts up. When I discovered this, I was delighted - I always imagine being a bit 60s musical-poppet to this, hten it goes a bit Joanna Newsome in parts. I love Davy's vocal, but here's the lovely Mike - My Share of the Sidewalk, The Monkees. I love this. NO ONE ELSE LIKES THIS.

by Moby Grape
My friend was living with one of the guys from Death in Vegas, who has an amazing record collection. So my friend made me a mix TAPE of all this fantastic country rock, one of my favourites being I Am Not Willing by Moby Grape. Can't play record version, but this is pretty amazing live performance.
by Darondo
I've enjoyed finding new music on here so much. Love what everyone's posting. I was going to post good cheese, then something meaningful but, in the end, my love of Darondo won through. I'm going to have to follow some of you on Spotify.
by Kris Kristofferson Johnny Cash
I always thought Kristofferson was big, but Cash dwarfs him. I'll be listening to this over coffee in the morning. It's just occurred to me for the first time that these country tunes have the hint of a Mexican mariachi. I'm so slow.

by T. Rex
This came on my Spotify Discover Weekly playlist and, rather unexpectedly, moved me to tears. Bloody hormones. Cosmic Dancer - T-Rex.
by Manic Street Preachers
I'm paying unexpected visit.to the hospital for a few days, hence Roses.in the Hospital. #hospital
by The Maccabees
This has been a rather lovely earworm for the past week. Something Like Happiness - The Maccabees.
by J M Baule (Bob Dylan cover)
A lovely cover of a pretty good song. It's Billy the Kid, but in Spanish. IF you don't like Bob Dylan, fine, but I bet you'll like some tracks off his Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid album. It's beautiful.
by Unknown Mortal Orchestra
Necessary Evil - Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Love this song, can only find live versions, though.
by Slave
Bit of old skool, had to use this remix as WMG blocking everything. Anyway, used to do formation dancing to this one, with my wedge haircut (yuck).
by Foster Sylvers
I think I've posted this before, but it's lovely - not #funkyfriday, but a good tune.
by Simple Kid
Beck overtones, I think,, but still cracking. Bought this when buying CDs was still a thing.

by Shamir
I really do like Shamir - such a versatile artist.
Get Lived and Died Alone (Lindi Ortega Cover) - Northtown EP - GODMODE at Amazon
by The Charmels
When she sings "I feel free as a bird", I feel I could soar. I wish I could sing.
by Rage Against the Machine
Down in the doldrums, so need a bit of a kick up the backside. Nothing new to see here, but it's an awesone tune. I used to live in Brixton near The Academy, and you could always tell who were playing by the look of the fans streaming out of the tube. Rage Against the Machine fans were always one of my favourites.
by The Rolling Stones
You know that summery jazz thing I was doing? Given up. Moonlight Mile - The Rolling Stones.
by Madeleine Peyroux
My summery jazz songs just seem sarcastic now. It's pissing down, but on I forge!

I'm still trying to will the summer sun into existence with my sunny jazz. Which is not going down a storm with you lot.
by Karin Krog
I'm trying to invoke the feeling of summer by playing tracks I remember listening to in the heat. Jazzy little mumber, here.

by DJ Shadow Feat. Mos Def
Went to see the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble last night, and Mos Def got up on stage. And so I've chosen a song I listened to a lot a few years back, Six Days - DJ Shadow ft. Most Def (although I prefer a different remix).

by Jacques Brel
It took me far too long to discover Jacques Brel. Still, better late than never.
by AWOLNATION
Love this tune, and then Sasha went and sang it on The Voice (brilliantly, I might add). Sail by AWOLNATION.
by Mini Mansions
by Leon Bridges
I had to change my Jam because I just heard this and it's lovely - he wrote it about his mother, and it's soul sublime.

by The Waterboys
This is the only version I'm permitted to share. Can you imagine if a song like this was written for you, ladies? Melting all over the place. A Man Is In Love - The Waterboys.
by Grace Jones
Because this is still a really, really good record and she has made some outstandingly good tracks over the years.
Wait! There's more…
