This will be my final jam...I want to thank all of the other Jammers here for a wonderful experience. The words to this song came to mind when I heard of TIMJ's imminent demise. I have had a very wonderful experience here Thanks to all of you. This song begins... Was it wonderful for you Was it holy as it was for me Did you feel the hand of destiny That was guiding us together ...I think we all created something very special here. I'm so very glad I got to dance with you For a moment of forever Love & Best Wishes to all of you. Where ever you go...what ever you do remember our times fondly & keep on listening & sharing music somewhere. #FinalJam

I'm going to try to start posting several jams a day from now to closing...I in the past almost always tried to post one Jam a week but once in a while I would post sooner. I find that there is just too much good music out there to share & at even a couple Jams a day I could be here for a very long time...time which I just don't have here. I'll just Jam till I can't :-) Thanks to everyone who shared music, comments, knowledge, info & friendship with me...It's been great .

This song feels to me like an old friend...At the end of the song they sing 'Preserve your memories /They’re all that's left you" So many Jammers feel to me like old friends now. I've only been on TIMJ for 3 & two thirds years but it's been great! I was slow at the start to follow people & was amazed when people started to follow me & comment on my Jams. I am surprised by the many facets of each persons collective Jams. How by sharing music my personal tastes & opinions of genre or groups have changed. All of you here at TIMJ have helped me change,to grow & evolve musically & personally.I realized music is such an integral part of who we are...of our lives. Thank you fellow Jammers. To the people who envisioned it, built it & administered TIMJ Thanks. I'm sad that TIMJ is closing but am thankful that what we have created...so many memories, some Fabulous playlists, terrific commentary & friendships will have an archive that we can return to for visits. #GoodbyeJams

The first Sister Hazel song I ever heard was Change your mind. It got me hooked. I also really love Just Remember & wanted to Jam it. As usual the restrictions on everything I want to play reduce me to this live clip. I will post the YouTube link to the one I wanted to Jam because the guitar in the other clip at the begging is so killer. Lisen to the other if you can. You'll be glad you did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4qtneTzNOM

For me it's not that Jerry Garcia & The Grateful Dead weren't great...they were but I think Jerry's best work was done with Dave Grisman. This is my favorite of theirs. It's the last song on the Jerry Garcia & David Grisman album. The rest of the album is great too. After recieving the notification of the upcoming breakup of our little group I was trying to picture life without all of you. You have all shared parts of yourselves with me through the jams you have posted & the wonderful commentary. Many of you have shared information of personal life events & we have helped each other though some tough & stressful times as well as shared our joys & accomplishments. I will truly miss the family I have found through this site & hope we can all find each other somewhere on another site. It has been suggested we try http://www.letsloop.com & I'm all for it cause not having you all in my life would just break my heart. # TIMJbreakingup

Willie Nelson was named yesterday as the 2015 recipient of the Library Of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. I can't think of a song he's ever done I didn't like even though I'm not a country music fan. I love this song & in the video he looks like he's havin' a lotta fun. Congrats to him on this most recent award.

Happy 26th Birthday to my youngest daughter Victoria. She shares her birthday (May 24th) with Bob Dylan...Happy 74th Birthday Bob! This was the first song I ever heard Bob Dylan sing...I was 11 & I thought his song was the most interesting thing I'd ever heard. After that I couldn't get enough & because of that I also started listening to Woodie Guthrie, Pete Seeger & Joan Baez.

R.I.P. Riley B. King (September 16, 1925 – May 14, 2015), known as B.B. King. BBC News reported: The 'King of the Blues' guitarist and singer, BB King, has died aged 89, his lawyer says. King, known for his hits Lucille, Sweet Black Angel and Rock Me Baby, died in his sleep in Las Vegas. Born in Mississippi, King began performing in the 1940s. He went on to influence a generation of musicians, working with Eric Clapton and U2. Once ranked as the third greatest guitarist of all time, he had been suffering ill health in recent months. He was recently taken to hospital with a diabetes-related illness. A former farmhand, King was awarded his 15th Grammy award in 2009 for his album One Kind Favor. He was also inducted into both the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rolling Stone magazine placed him behind only Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman in its list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. Until recently, King performed in at least 100 concerts a year.
