Here are all of marktee's jams.
by Explosions In The Sky
A mountain of tedious work today, but at the same time looking forward to some time off... So today's Jam had to be something pretty special... And it is! From EITS's third album - The earth is not a cold dead place
Jammed: 31st Jul 2014
You already know that anything remixed by Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve is just gonna sound wonderful...! I could do with a more productive name too, I think I'll try 'Roscoe'...

by The Pictish Trail
Saw Pictish Trail, Rozi Plain and the Tuff Love kids with the lovely @lindatee at the Old Queens Head last night - and what a storming gig it was! I've been singing this one all day... This clip is a very old one of Johnny but has the best sound - and worth it for the pre-amble...
Jammed: 2nd Jul 2014
by Kollektiv Turmstrasse
I've been listening to a lot of Kollektiv Turmstrasse this week, and this is a real stand-out track for me...

Cars & girls? - Check! ...Beards? - Check! ...Abstract blues? - Check! It must be The Top!! Lovely old hot-rod Fords in this clip, Billy's 34 Coupe is soooo beautiful, it IS actually classified as art. Now, if only those silly girls would move out of the way so I can see more of the cars. (Navarro heads... Oh my goodness!!!!!)
Jammed: 2nd Jun 2014
I was lucky enough to see these guys supporting Mutual Benefit at The Union Chapel on Friday night, and was mightily impressed... Magical songs, fantastic venue and really lovely guys... Looking forward to hear more from them...
Jammed: 26th May 2014
Biff Bang Pow! Ride covering The Creation! Andy Bell taking flight… before he threw in the towel to play bass for Oasis. I'm starting to get the hang of this #BritPopWeek
Jammed: 24th Apr 2014
by The Seahorses
Watching the The Stone Roses: Made of Stone doc on Saturday, and I'm sure John Squire played this riff in the 13 minute version of Fools Gold from Heaton Park… Shades of things to come? Either way it's been in my head all weekend - what an intro! #BritPopWeek ?
Jammed: 22nd Apr 2014
by Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose
Humming this on the way to work this morning, and thought it would be a good contender for #FunkyFriday... Just love when the guitar starts chiming behind the singer at 0:15...
Jammed: 11th Apr 2014
by The Antlers & Brent Arnold
Is it possible to remix an Antlers song and improve on the original? This beautiful re-imagining of No Windows by Brent Arnold has been swimming around inside my head all week...
Jammed: 4th Apr 2014
by Luke Abbott
I've been listening to a lot Luke Abbott this week, and this lead track from the 'Modern Driveway' EP is one of my favourites... If you like it there's also a lovely Jon Hopkins piano version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KDaCjnFfbg

by Randolph's Leap
A wonderful evening on Sunday at The Lexington, with Kid Canaveral, Synaesthete, the lovely @lindatee and this wee chap...
Jammed: 11th Mar 2014
by The Godfathers
When I played @lindatee 's excellent Primal Scream jam this morning, I started humming this when it finished... They must have been on an old mixtape once upon a time... And now it's the only tune in my head!
Jammed: 28th Feb 2014
by The Senators
Inspired by @BarneyRubble 's 7" vinyl discovery trip, I thought I'd do a little crate digging myself. These boys deserved to have been so much bigger... Great songs & great voices... Mrs T & myself had the good fortune to see them at The Mean Fiddler just after this track (their debut single) came out in 1988. Also the first CD I ever bought - now practically unplayable, so this is ripped from good old-fashioned vinyl.... Enjoy!
Jammed: 18th Feb 2014
by Ben Watt
You know what they say about silver and lining… Ben's first solo album in 31 years! Going to see him play (again) next week… Excitement is building… out on April 14… This is the title track...
Jammed: 15th Feb 2014
by Small Faces
I once sang this song, from beginning to end, in front of a packed classroom at college... But that was just a dream! Great intro from Eric & Ernie on this clip - and a jaw-dropping performance from Steve....
Jammed: 12th Feb 2014
by Patch & The Giant
Elephant Revival at The Lexington this evening, who were wonderful - much more dynamic live than their records - but highlight for me was support; Patch & The Giant. They're just starting a small UK tour, and if folky / sea shanty / drinking songs are your bag... Highly recommended.
Jammed: 3rd Feb 2014
by The Pictish Trail
#FirstGigOf2014 The Pictish Trail at Islington Chapel on Saturday, and it was wonderful. Sadly this tune is not from the actual show, but still live (from The Toad Sessions) and Johnny did play it, just as beautifully...
Jammed: 20th Jan 2014
by Small Faces
Small Faces have been a constant favourite of mine since my teens, and this perfect cover of Tim Hardin's Red Balloon has been going round and round in my head all day... #DeepFolk ... anyone?
Jammed: 15th Jan 2014
by Ben Watt with Bernard Butler
I've had enough of the weather at the moment, so here's an optimistic number from Ben, playing Fender Rhodes with Bernard Butler on guitar and inspired by Bill Evans "You Must Believe in Spring". I was lucky enough to see him play this live, late last year… just lovely. Ben's first solo album in 30 years is due in the coming months, which is top of my #MostAnticipatedReleases2014 list!
Jammed: 6th Jan 2014
by Santo & Johnny / Richard Hawley & Hank Marvin
I couldn't decide between these two haunting tunes this morning, so I have cunningly mixed them together to play both! You can certainly hear the influence of Santo & Johnny on Richard Hawley's playing... and yes, he is dueting with the actual Hank Marvin. #LazySunday

Raising a glass to you all... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all MyJammers!!
Jammed: 24th Dec 2013
by James Yorkston & The Athletes
You took off all your clothes and you dived into the sea, I took all those photos I swore no-one should ever see, And I joined you in the surf... When the cold had done it's worst, we retired back inside, we drank to our future and those we'd left behind... May they get what they deserve...
Jammed: 22nd Dec 2013
by James Yorkston
Still enjoying the glow of James Yorkston's warmth, humour and heartbreakingly sad songs… "I sleep with your songs running up my arms and curling around and keeping me warm" - Tortoise Regrets Hare
Jammed: 21st Dec 2013
by Billy Bragg
This BB gem has been going round in my head all day; "Now I can feed and dress and wash myself - And sleep without the light on, Honey, I'm a big boy now..." Accompanied by Cara Tivey on (music hall) piano and taken from a bootleg of Billy's New Year's Eve Party - Hackney Empire, 1991 - which the lovely @lindatee and I were lucky enough to attend.
Jammed: 6th Dec 2013
Wait! There's more…
