Here are all of mikelowe's jams.
Well that's all there is to it.....we're here at #FinalJam time. *sighs * Over the past 3 years I made many lovely, dear friends and we've had a lot of fun. THANK YOU doesn't say it all. I particularly want to mention that there are some folks that I've been fortunate to have made contact with, away from TIMJ either by email, or even in person, you all know who you are - I won't mention names as they probably wouldn't want to be associated with me in public!! But, I just want to send my love to them all and give each and every one of them a huge, virtual hug, you are very special!! As we maybe go off in different directions, wherever you land please take the "TIMJ Spirit" with you, because that will make it a better place to be. Until we meet again, may you all be well, happy and at peace. Take care... And before they come to take me away, let's go out with some fun - OK, hit it Animal.....

by The Lovin' Spoonful
Oh dear!!!! This is just getting harder and harder!!!! My penultimate Jam. I've jammed this before and it was a very close second for my "Eternal Jam". I've chosen to post it again now, as the lyrics (see below) seem to sum up what music means to me and how I'm sure most of us, "believe in the magic that can set us free!!" #LongLiveTheJams .
Jammed: 23rd Sep 2015
by Elephant Revival
Continuing with my last few Jams (*sighs*) of artists who've meant the most to me over the years. I only "discovered" these folks a couple of years ago. But I just love everything about them!! This Jam's for my lovely friends @lindatee & @christineb who've enjoyed them as well xx #SundaySoother .
Jammed: 20th Sep 2015
by Van Morrison
Continuing to share my best loved artists & albums. It seems like Van is now victim to the dreaded restrictions, whatever you try and select!!! Fortunately this nice live track gets around it. I'm away now for a few days, but I'll be back, to spend the last week or so on here with whoever's left!!!
Jammed: 14th Sep 2015
by Tim Hardin
I was looking for this classic song on YT ready to post it, when I found this gorgeous, plaintive, solo version that I'd never seen before....it blew me away!! Hardin has always been a singer-songwriter who can break my heart in the first 2 lines of a song and the economy of his writing is a master class (most of his songs come in under 2½ minutes!) Sadly, within a year of this being filmed Hardin had died from a heroin overdose. His expression to the camera at the end just makes me go to pieces. #SundaySoother .
Jammed: 13th Sep 2015
by Julie Miller
Another of my early Jams revisited, from one of my favourite ever albums "Broken Things". Now, when I jammed this before, it got the princely number of 4 "loves". The other worrying thing is, that no one else has posted this since!!! Maybe there's a good reason for this and I've got it all horribly wrong!!! But listen to Julie's desperate vocals, to the ace guitar from Julie's husband Buddy and swoon as the Hammond organ sneaks in @ 1.55 and builds up. Surely it's worth at least 5 Loves.....Please!!!!!!!!!
Jammed: 9th Sep 2015
by Kate Bush
Continuing to share some of my best loved artists and albums until TIMJ closes. I've Jammed Kate before and tried to post her many other times, but have often run into restrictions. I hope this plays for you all!! From one of my top five favourite albums "Hounds of Love". #LongLiveTheJams
Jammed: 7th Sep 2015
Getting back to some of my favourite artists and albums. #SundaySoother I wanted to jam this other live version, which for my money is better all around.....but it was restricted!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZohWYK1GBc
Jammed: 5th Sep 2015
by Matthew Perryman Jones
As we've now got until 26th Sept on TIMJ, I thought I'd have a break from my classic "oldies" and share something brand new with you, that I'm really enjoying. I've Jammed MPJ before and this is a lovely, acoustic version of the title track from his new mini-album. Hope you enjoy it. #LongLiveTheJams .
Jammed: 3rd Sep 2015
by The Small Faces
Happy to say I've managed to reach my 3rd Anniversary on TIMJ - Phew!!! What a joy to share this space with you. Thanks to all of you who've been along for the ride. This song was my second Jam and is another one that could so easily have been an "Eternal Jam". THANK YOU!!!
Jammed: 1st Sep 2015
by Cara Dillon with Paul Brady
Love the contrast of these two singers - Cara's voice of an angel and Paul's raw brogue. Another spine-tingling, live version from Transatlantic Sessions. #SundaySoother .
Jammed: 30th Aug 2015
by Howlin' Wolf
Before we finish here, I just had to squeeze this Jam in, it was very close to being my "Eternal Jam"!! I'm going to leave you in the capable hands of Lighnin' until next weekend. Then I'll be back with you, to see if there's anyone left and to #GoDownJamming . Coming soon:- http://www.letsloop.com/MikeLowe . Have a great week lovely Jammers - take care.
Jammed: 23rd Aug 2015
by Monica Heldal
I'm going to spice up my run through of "old favourites" with a couple of new (to me) artists, who I think very highly of, but who I've never Jammed before! This comes from the album "Boy From The North". The album seems to have been around for a year or so on a small indie label, but just got picked up by Warner Brothers and is being re-released soon. It may well be my favourite "new" album. Monica's from Norway and now lives in Ireland. I get to see her live in October!! JAM ON!!!
Jammed: 20th Aug 2015
by Bob Dylan
Sad news of the passing of great producer Bob Johnston. He worked with amongst others Dylan, Cohen, S & G, etc. Famous quote of his, "All I did was turn the tapes on.” I had big problems tracking down a non-restricted version of this. I hope it plays for you. Otherwise go here for a nice, crisp recording:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc2yCWsR07U - #FavouriteArtists - #FavouriteDylanSong
Jammed: 19th Aug 2015
Family were a big part of my life in the late 60s early 70's. One of THE best live bands ever. They would often finish their set with a barnstormin' 30 minute version of this!!!!!!!!! Turn it up!!!!! #FavouriteArtists
Jammed: 17th Aug 2015
by Ry Cooder & David Lindley
Continuing with my run-down of some favourite artists. #JammingTillTheEnd .
Jammed: 16th Aug 2015
by Paper Aeroplanes
My favourite British band in the past couple of years and the contemporary band I've Jammed the most. This is from their "Little Letters" album. I'm intending to move over to:- http://www.letsloop.com/MikeLowe but not until we finish here.
Jammed: 15th Aug 2015
by Bobby Womack
Continuing the celebration with some of my all-time favourite artists and past Jams with Brother Womack. It seems like we have until sometime in mid September to Jam our hearts out......JAM ON!!! I'm intending to move over to:- http://www.letsloop.com/MikeLowe but not properly until we finish here. #FunkyFriday .
Jammed: 14th Aug 2015
by Carole King
I want y'all to sing along to this one. I think the woman at 5:12 sums up how many of us are feeling right now!! I'm on the Let's Loop thingy, but not posting yet, (apart from by accident, when I pressed a wrong button!!!) Please come and say hello again if you'd like to and you can help me out with it! http://www.letsloop.com/MikeLowe Look out for the scruffy, lovable, meditating muppet.
Jammed: 12th Aug 2015
by Kim Richey
I'm going to carry on jammin' for a while yet, with some of my all-time favourite musicians. I'm shocked that I haven't posted this wonderful singer/songwriter before. So many jams....so little time. "Cause I don't have a point to prove. Or a stand to make, I'm just trying to find my way. And a face to wear. And a place to be. In the absence of your company." Seems sadly appropriate!!

by Courtney Barnett
Just got a ticket to see young Courtney in concert at the end of the year. What a good album this is from.
Jammed: 8th Aug 2015
by Dirk Powell & Transatlantic Sessions
#SundaySoother #Bluegrass Steve Earle has said, "Dirk Powell is a badass. To the bone. He is, in addition to being the greatest old-time banjo player alive, a graduate student of both mountain and Cajun fiddle styles and diatonic button accordion, an instrument that fights you back, take it from me, I've tried. He is a singer, songwriter, producer, recording engineer, and an all in all artist of unique vision and unbending integrity".
Jammed: 2nd Aug 2015
by Richard Shindell
A few jams back, some folks mentioned how much they enjoyed an alternative link I posted to Richard's original version of "Fishing". I said he is my favourite contemporary, male, singer-songwriter and I ought to Jam him some more....here goes!!! A poignant song about a confederate army drummer boy. I was at this concert, Shrewsbury Folk Festival '10.
Jammed: 27th Jul 2015
by Joan Baez
So, before a #PrisonJam we need an #InterrogationJam !!! Of course Joan's no stranger to being in prison either, having served at least two short sentences for her acts of civil disobedience.....Good Ol' Joan!! Written by my favourite male, singer-songwriter the wonderful Richard Shindell. Here's his version:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjQ_dfIeopY
Jammed: 19th Jul 2015
by Bobby Womack
I'm joining those jailbirds @BladeRunner & @MadameZia with a very early entry for #PrisonJam . Sorry to break ranks, but I'm away now until the weekend. From Womack's 1970 album "My Prescription". See y'all soon.
Jammed: 13th Jul 2015
by Buffy Sainte-Marie
A new album from Buffy is a rare thing and is always a cause for celebration. From "Power In The Blood". I was really expecting this to be "restricted" - I hope it plays for y'all.
Jammed: 25th Jun 2015
by The Walker Brothers
I was having a brief chat with my friend @christineb about the first concert we ever went to and I THINK these guys were mine about '65/'66. Of course I was very young at the time!!!! They rocked far more live, than their hit singles of the time and I remember them belting this soul classic out. Have you ever seen Scott so animated and those hips and trousers of John's should have a health warning!!! What was your first big gig? #unforgettable....* sighs *
Jammed: 23rd Jun 2015
by The Sea The Sea
Only heard these folks for the first time last week. Nice harmonies, some nifty guitar - I'm really liking them. This is their new single. https://soundcloud.com/theseatheseamusic
Jammed: 16th Jun 2015
by Van Morrison
Here in the UK, Van has just been awarded a knighthood for his "services to music". One of the highest awards a British person can receive from the establishment. Here's one of my favourite tracks from "Sir Van" as we now need to call him!!!
Jammed: 13th Jun 2015
by Taj Mahal
Just heard our man "Taj" is not very well at the moment. Let's wish him well. This is from his 1968 début album. Please use the Youtube link as it's not playing everywhere!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gBqwWOWKLE
Jammed: 10th Jun 2015
Quick change of jam due to restrictions on the previous one!!! Happy to say I'll get to see these folks again in the next two weeks. They never fail to hit that groove and then they don't let you go!! See y'all soon.
Jammed: 19th May 2015
by Etta James
I'm away for most of May, so no Jams (or listening) from me for a while. I might manage another in a couple of weeks, on a fleeting return home!!! If anyone's going to the "Hay Festival" at the end of May, please come and say hello at The Good Energy Stage. I'll leave you in Etta's capable hands - Take care y'all.
Jammed: 2nd May 2015
It seems quite a few UK Jammers are seeing Calexico in concert this week and I'm joining them on Friday night!!! Hope we all have a blast. This is from their new album "Edge Of The Sun"
Jammed: 30th Apr 2015

OK, I know this song has nothing to do with surfing, but " #300 's Up" as well!!! I wanted to Jam something special and this fits the bill perfectly. To friends old and new....thanks for a fun two and a half years! <3
Jammed: 26th Apr 2015
by Dick Dale & Stevie Ray Vaughan

by Santana & Rob Thomas
I'm away for a couple of days. I'm going to sit in the middle of a field and celebrate my birthday on Wednesday. As I won't be with you, I thought we'd get the party started early with Carlos and his chums and this storming version of "Smooth". See y'all soon :-)
Jammed: 13th Apr 2015
Wait! There's more…
