Here are all of redheadx's jams.
by Face Tomorrow
I'm leaving TIMJ heavy-heartedly. I want to thank you all for bringing so much (musical) joy into my life. And although I hope to see you again on LetsLoop (or perhaps Nusiki or God's Jukebox), I've got the feeling it just won't be the same. I'm going to miss TIMJ terribly! This is my last jam...The End.
by Heart of a Coward
And another rad track off the forthcoming Heart of a Coward album. Just can't get enough of this band!
by Gojira
I saw Gojira live last Tuesday. It was one of those gigs you talk about for years to come. The crowd went berserk from the very beginning. The fact that they played in the town where I was born and raised made it even more special. So freaking awesome!!!
by For Today
When I heard For Today signed with Nuclear Blast, I thought they would sound even heavier than before. And guess what, they do! This is the first released track off the upcoming new album and I love it.
by Any Given Day
The end is near...hope to see you all at letsloop! http://www.letsloop.com/redheadx
by The xx
As of September TIMJ will be no more. Needless to say I'm gutted! I'd like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your wonderful jams, thoughts and opinions. And although there are so many different musical styles and tastes on TIMJ all songs are Our Song!
by Sonic Youth
It's about time I jammed some Sonic Youth. This is one of my favourite songs by them. #fromthearchives
by Soilwork
New Soilwork :D. Title track off the upcoming album which is due on August 28th.
by Oh, Sleeper
I miss these guys, it's about time they came back from hiatus. I didn't mind Shane Blay joining Wovenwar and I quite like that band as well, but I definitely prefer Oh, Sleeper. From Children Of Fire, with the most beautiful piano intro ever!
by August Burns Red
And the story continues: another brilliant new release, August Burns Red's album Found in Far Away Places. There's a very interesting intermezzo on this track at 1:52 :).
by Disturbed
And yes...there's more new music. This time by Disturbed. They're back after a four years' hiatus with this awesome new single and an album to follow on 21st August!
by Fear Factory
New Fear Factory, new Fear Factory! ♫♥♫ And it's an absolute belter! So stoked to see them in two weeks, looking forward to hearing more new stuff live.
by Heart Of A Coward
I’d been looking forward to the release of this new HoaC song so very very much and when I heard it for the first time last Tuesday, all I could think was: YES!!!, and it’s been on repeat ever since. They just never disappoint, such a killer song. Now I can’t wait for the new album to drop. Bring it on! I’m off to Germany now for a week’s holiday. See you all later.
by The Chameleons
I meant to jam the Chameleons ages ago, but every time something else came up :). Better late than never, uh? Off one of my all time favourite albums, Script of the Bridge. #fromthearchives
by Make Them Suffer
Decision time...choose just one track off the new Make Them Suffer album. Life is hard sometimes :).
by Obsequiae
Right, I intended to jam the new Bullet for my Valentine single, but (again!) couldn't find a playable stream :(. Then I heard this song on a friend's FB page and I was hooked instantly which resulted in buying both their albums. Here's a nice review of their latest album: http://www.metal-observer.com/3.o/review/obsequiae-aria-of-vernal-tombs/. They get nothing but praise on every single metal site by the way, and well-deserved too!
by Flaw
I'll keep emphasising it: Flaw is such an underrated band. They had some issues in the past and even broke up at some point, but they reunited (and reformed quite recently). This is the first single off their upcoming album. Needless to say I can't wait for it to be released!
by The Dillinger Escape Plan
The final video off One Of Us Is The Killer and favourite track (@caronline Earlier this week I really, truly, honestly planned to jam a quiet song today, but on Friday this video was released and...well...you know... ;))
by Breakdown Of Sanity
Like my previous jam, this one is Swiss made as well. So they do not only know how to make perfect watches, cheese and chocolate...
by Sybreed
Unfortunately this excellent Swiss band disbanded in 2013. This track is from their last album God is an Automaton. This link works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDH0Tz8iQ2E
by ADIMIRON
I discovered this Italian band recently. Their latest album, Timelapse, just blew me away. This track was a favourite immediately. That double bass drum at 02:30!!!
by Mutiny Within
This band almost disbanded in 2012, mainly due to music piracy. Fortunately their second album got an amazing response and they decided to continue. I must admit I did some "free" downloading in the past, but I realised in time that it causes major damage. So please support/keep supporting your favourite bands!
by Betraying the Martyrs
Mais oui, back to the French...from their latest album Phantom.
by The Gun Club
Do you remember The Gun Club/Jeffrey Lee Pierce? Such a shame he died so tragically and at such a young age! This is one of my favourite Gun Club songs #fromthearchives
by Novelists
Right, I intended to jam the new Breaking Benjamin single, Failure, which was released today, but there's no playable link yet :(, so I'll have to put that on hold. Instead: this jam is by an amazing French band that I recently discovered.
by dEMOTIONAL
I decided to stay with the Swedes a little bit longer. This time I have to thank @DanielRamsey for the introduction to this amazing band. This track is from their latest album, Tarassis.
by In Solitude
I meant to jam this ages ago, but every time something else came up. Thank you @Elias_Tzz and @btener for the introduction at the time! In case it won't play for you on TIMJ, here's another link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMWqrKNCGr0
by The Royal
Are these guys Dutch??? Oh yes, they are! And hugely talented as well, as a matter of fact.
by RED
I've been a RED fan from scratch and just couldn't wait for the new album (of Beauty and Rage) to drop. Formally it will be released this Tuesday, but it's pre-streaming on Spotify. I'm so glad they returned to work with producer Rob Graves. Together they did the most amazing job! This review says it all: http://www.newreleasetuesday.com/userprofile_reviewssinglepost.php?review_id=22816&user_id=36708. I finally found just one playable link to one of the tracks.
by Nine Shrines
I intended to jam the new RED single, Darkest Part, but couldn't find a playable link :( , I'll keep searching though. Instead a song by this awesome new band I discovered recently.
by Eyeless In Gaza
Once in a while I dive into my vinyl collection, ending up playing one album after the other, not being able to stop. That's how I came across this gem...a quiet jam this time :) #fromthearchives
by Fear Factory
It’s a "so-glad-fearfactory-are-here-when-i-need-them-to-get-me-through-dull-sundays" kind of Sunday.
by 10 Years
I hardly ever replace a song prematurely, but now Conflict just had to make way for this amazing new 10 Years single! And I profoundly hope the record company won't have it removed from Youtube...
by Etched In Red
It was love at first listen when I heard this song on the internet radio station last week. I'd never heard of this band before, so I had to check them out. It turns out that they formed in 2004 and released only one album in 2007! Apparently, according to their facebook page, they're working on new material. I can't wait!
by Islander
They may sound like Deftones now and then, but I don't care. That riff, that riff!!!
by Down Royale
Another jam from one of my favourite albums of 2014 (if not the favourite), Sway. Have a rocking new year! \m/
by Heart Of A Coward
I intended to jam this a couple of weeks ago, but then I was mindblown by Down Royale and they got priority, but this band is so damn good as well!
by Opgezwolle
Although I'm not a big rap/hip hop fan, I've always liked this Dutch band (that unfortunately split up in 2007). I promised @shiningsun2k I'd post one of their songs, so here we go :) It's a shame most of you won't have a clue what the lyrics are about.
by Nothing More
Apparently this band has been criticised for being mediocre and not original. Seriously?? Ah well, I don't care, love this song and the album!
by Down Royale
I intended to jam a song by another band which I was listening to on YouTube. Through a comment on that song I stumbled upon these guys. Then all I thought was "bloody hell" (excuse my language) and I just had to jam this one!
by Echo and The Bunnymen
Heaven Up Here...still such a good album, one of my all time favourites #fromthearchives
by Any Given Day
I heard these German guys for the first time the other day...instant like!
by The Devin Townsend Project (feat. Anneke van Giersbergen)
Thank you @twentyfourhours for jamming this song last week. It just blew me away! This live version (starting at 0:55) is quite spectacular as well. Can't stop listening...
by Sevendust
I've posted Sevendust-related songs here, but never the masters themselves. It's time to set the record straight.
by Red Line Chemistry
Please try and listen to the entire song. Especially the second half is SO worth it! And if you can't get enough of it, check out their album Tug Of War :)
by Upon A Burning Body
I saw this band opening for 5FDP back in March and they were good! This track is off their upcoming album which will be released next month.
Wait! There's more…
