Here are all of thesunneversets's jams.

Still reeling from the discovery that obscure mid-90s Elvis Costello B-side "Life Shrinks" (which meant a lot to me back in the day) does not meaningfully exist anywhere on the internet. Oh well, at least this obscure B-side that covers WB Yeats is still doing the rounds, just about...

She'll be a verb when you're a noun And you've just got to laugh when she tries to put you down She says "Don't assume" in language not quite human She thinks, why go through it? Take all shortcuts She says "Say what you need to say, don't waste words"

It was my daughter's Summer Concert this morning featuring adorable children belting out many sun- and summer-themed songs. Until today I'd never realised what pro-parent propaganda the lyrics to this song were...

Enjoyed watching the Michael Clark Company do a series of dance interpretations of 70s songs, including this one. Still not sure though whether the whole of Lou Reed's "Heroin" playing to a completely empty stage was a technical hitch or brilliant avant-garde choreography...

Having watched 6 episodes of Fishing With John last night (Jim Jarmusch failing to get excited about sharks! Tom Waits putting a red snapper down his pants! Willem Dafoe dying of exposure in Maine!), I couldn't stop singing the theme tune this morning. When my 2 year old started joining in too, I knew I'd found today's jam.

So this is who we saw in lieu of Cambodian Space Project. He told the story of doing this on Jools Holland and being embarrassed about doing a cheesy love song, but apparently it didn't do his career any harm...

We all trooped out to see The Cambodian Space Project first thing on Friday morning and got really confused because they'd cancelled and been replaced by Raghu Dixit instead. India is an excellent Asian country but it is not Cambodia!

Off to a little festival in the West Country tomorrow ( hopefully rain will not "keep falling" the whole time) so normal jam service will be suspended till at least Monday. Have a lovely week!

I don't remember meeting Pete Edwards of the Lurkers, aka Plug the Roadie (for Bauhaus etc), aka our building manager in recent years, but I'm enjoying the tributes to him and memories of his favourite songs that my colleagues have been coming up with. RIP...

The last time I saw Jungle it was on top of a multi-storey car park in Peckham; I was jetlagged, fell off a wall and cracked my rib. The show last night at Brixton Academy started with a tiny breakdancer and ended with the entire venue getting filled with a Krakatoa of smoke and gold glitter. Surely the can only improve this upward trajectory by having free beer next time round?

Blogging the Times crossword last Friday caused me to discover that I'd always been pronouncing "reveille" wrong, assuming it be "re-vay". Fortunately the Andrews Sisters were on hand to set me straight.

#Every4ADReleaseInChronologicalOrder Part 77b. "But I wish that I had 'cause I'm feeling so sad that I never had one of your children. Across the room, inside a tomb, a chance has waxed and waned." Happy holiday Monday!

Big discussion amongst the Times crossword blogging community about the obscurity or otherwise of the word MANSARD which appeared in Monday's puzzle... let that be a lesson to those of them who hadn't taken the time to get into Vampire Weekend!

U.S. Girls last night in Hoxton was a great show generating lots of dancing in the crowd, but all over in under half an hour! The demand for an encore was too great for Meghan not to dredge one last song up though and this is what she came up with.
